How it works
Read-only, from first line to final report
Phønix Audit sits next to your control system. It reads, it never writes.
Four steps for every cycle
- 01
Collect
New lines from the WinCC log files or the PLC are read every few seconds and stored in the raw data archive.
- 02
Analyse
The cycle is found, F0, hold time, pressure and cooling are calculated, and the result is checked against the recipe.
- 03
Report
A PDF/A report is written to the report folder with the cycle's raw data embedded and a unique report number.
- 04
Release and archive
The cycle is acknowledged and released with an electronic signature. Report, raw data and audit trail are kept for the retention period.
Your control system is not touched
Phønix Audit only needs read access to the folder where WinCC writes its log files. It opens a file, reads the new lines and closes it again. It never moves, renames or locks a file, and it never writes to the PLC.
If the network share is unavailable, Phønix Audit shows it and catches up when the connection returns. No data is lost.
Time you can trust
All times are stored in UTC and shown in the plant's local time. On the last Sunday in October the hour from 02:00 to 03:00 happens twice. Phønix Audit keeps both, so a cycle running through the change is neither shortened nor merged.
